Simply put, God is Good!

This has been an exciting season to say the least; countless events and activities across the board among our different ministries, an amazing series that was filled with discussion and growth, the launching of our new CC Groups “Community Collective”, and the celebration of our 90th anniversary as a church family! God has been good to us, has blessed us, and has granted us the opportunity to join Him in His redemptive work in our regional context, and beyond!

With all God has done for us, with all He is doing in us, and simply in response to who He is it should be understood that He loves us and desires we love Him in return! We are to love God because of what He has done and because of who He is, but we should also love Him because He has encouraged and commanded us to do so.

Deuteronomy 6:5 states; “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.” A command to the nation of Israel to love God. This passage is again visited and explored in the Gospels, as Jesus Himself quotes this passage and affirms its purpose for all followers of The Way. God intends for all Christ-followers to love Him wholly! However, if we are going to love Him wholly and follow this command, we must know exactly what He is asking of us. With this in mind, for the next three weeks we will navigate together to understand and apply the command to love God wholly, with our heart, soul, and strength.

Join us as we embrace this beautiful season by responding to God’s love for us and command for us to love Him in return. Services are at 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM (kids ministry provided for both) and can also be viewed on our website or YouTube as well.

May God bless you this season, as we embrace the love of God. What more can we be thankful for?
