For the month of June, our community partner in ministry is the Alexander Peanut Butter and Jelly Program.
Please help “spread the love” by donating jars of peanut butter and jelly which will be given to Alexander Local Schools to help provide summer lunches for children.
As summer approaches the Alexander Schools will have many students who depend on school lunches for meals. The Alexander School Outreach program through Athens County Children Services will once again be providing its Peanut Butter and Jelly program to the district. The program will begin June 4 and run through July 30. Every Thursday from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM, families in need can go to the front elementary parking lot and be given a week’s worth of peanut butter and jelly while supplies last.
If you would like to help “Spread the Love” you may drop off the jars of PB&J at the church office Monday-Friday 9:00 AM-12:00 PM in the month of June. We will then take them to the school for distribution. We will not be distributing them at the church. CCWC has supported this program for many years and it has been a blessing to the school and to the surrounding community.
