Jesus’ last week on earth has been called, The Holy Week. It began with Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem on what we call Palm Sunday, and included the Last Supper with his disciples, crucifixion on “Good” Friday, and resurrection on the Sunday we call Easter.
As a Church, we set this week aside to focus on these events which changed the world. The Holy Week schedule is below. We will celebrate with one another with the waving of palm branches, hear inspiring devotionals by Pastor Steve on Monday and Jim Deardorff on Thursday and experience the sobering passion of Good Friday. And then, just when it seems all is lost, we rise to a new and glorious morning for our Sunrise Service and celebration of the resurrected Christ on Easter Sunday.
