Ray Selden

Pastor Ray Selden joined the staff at CCWC in October, 2023 and serves as Assistant Pastor with primary leadership in the area of Family Ministry. He holds degrees from Grove City College and Wesley Seminary. Called to pastor when he was 14 years old, Pastor Ray has served the local church as a pastor since 1991. He was ordained in The Wesleyan Church in 2008, serving as Assistant Pastor (for youth), Lead Pastor, and even as a missionary in Haiti.

Best known as Pastor Mary’s husband, Pastor Ray and his wife have two grown children (both married their spouses in 2022) and love to follow Buffalo sports teams — usually the source of much disappointment (the teams, not their children). In their spare time, you can find them camping or hiking in state parks and, in the fall, Pastor Ray will find as much time to hunt whitetail as his schedule allows.
