Be the light

Christ Community Wesleyan Church believes that it is our responsibility to be a light in a dark world. One of the ways we strive to do that is by giving to mission organizations locally, nationally and internationally.

In Our Community

We desire to be a source of light and hope to our area and region. We are committed to impacting the lives of people in our church, but equally as committed to impacting the lives of those in our community. There are many areas to serve and we encourage you to get involved

We also have the Barnabas Fund (a benevolence fund) that helps those in need on a one-time basis and can provide food vouchers and gas cards in an emergency.

Beyond Our Community

Jesus told us to GO and make disciples of ALL nations. We support missionaries and ministries across the world but also take that work directly into our hands. We send teams of volunteers to other countries to care for and love on the people. Get in touch to see how you can get involved in impacting the world!

  • CRU — Brian and Jenny McCollister
  • Missionary Maintenance Service (MMS) — Dennis and Mary Satterthwaite
  • Global Partners — Wes and Susie Munsell in Haiti
  • Seven Baskets — A ministry in inner city Columbus, OH

We also go on mission trips to Haiti to work with the missionaries we support, the Munsell’s. These trips are both work teams as well as medical teams.

Haiti Missions Trip

Our youth ministry is going to Honduras to work with World Gospel Missions  and children of Projecto Manueleto.

Outreach at the County Fair

A team of people from CCWC had a great time planting evangelistic seeds at the Athens County Fair and the Albany Fair by asking passers-by six questions concerning the Word of God. Click here to watch and listen:
